Today was a beautiful day! Nice and rainy. I love it! Also today, my lens came in the mail! A Nikon 50mm 1:1.8D. My mom is trying to convince me that she should wrap it up for my birthday. But you see, I can't wait until next Tuesday...I need it for tomorrow! I need to test it out. I think I have her persuaded now to just wrap up the box. This is good.This past week I watched some kids I use to nanny for while their parents were out of town. We went on a big bike ride, played Clue for way too many hours, and even visited the zoo. It was fun. I like having license to act crazy when you are around kids... but who am I kidding. I am after all, guilty of playing pirates with my 16 year old sister in our pool just last week.
