I was all, "Adrian posted this cool artist's work without saying who it is. That's weird." Then I figured out it was you! Cool! You're getting better, my friend. I love this shot.

This is amazing! Of course it would have been cooler if I was on the horse...but alas we all can't have perfection. I'm still waiting on the pictures from the weekend though...

This is AMAZINGly gorgeous. I wish I had it hanging in my house. Is it for sale? (I clicked on your name from your comment on Nick's great, silly fonts post.) I also loved the "i love" thing lower down.

This is, I think, the next-to-shortest comment I've ever made.

Thanks for the kind words. Heidi to answer your question, basically all of the photos I post on here are for sale. If you are serious about buying, feel free to e-mail me and we can discuss prices and sizing.

Oo, very cool! I am serious. I'll talk to my husband first about what size...

Adrian,
I somehow lost your email info! Feel free to treat this as an email OR a comment. I asked my husband (also an artist--ceramics & painting) about the size question for the photo. He said at least in the neighborhood of 8x10 to do it justice... said it looked to be an unusual size... Also said, we have a modest-sized house with modest-sized rooms, so, poster size would be far too large and not be fair to the photos' beauty, anyway! I sorta feel like trusting YOUR artist's judgement. Roughly in the neighborhood between 8x10 and 12x14 do you think? I'd also be happy to trust your judgment about matting and framing if you enjoy doing this part of the process... I know it'd add considerably to the price, especially because of the cost of frames and shipping etc... Let me know what you think. If you think black and white matting/framing, fine. I'm insanely crazy for blues & yellows but NOT sure this would work for this photo. The only colors I seem to ever have occasional "issues" with, once in awhile, are orange and pink.

But, really, just whatever YOU think!!!!

I also do pretty much trust you to charge a price that is fair to us both. I teach piano so I'm not wealthy but I believe in Fair Pricing (and Fair Trade, by the way).

(And, remember... I know where Collette lives who knows where Rach lives who knows Nick who knows you so... Just teasing.)

So, give it some thought and let me know what you think. I looked at another post or two and realized you're a super-busy student photographer, so, no hurries! Mostly I just want to know where to send the check! And, let me know if you think it'll take well beyond 6 weeks to get in the mail once we finalize things.
How does that sound?

Oh, yeah--I'd also love to have on hand a few of your business cards, to show people when I brag about this great new artist I discovered... and also to give to my gramps who is insanely crazy for helping (relative) youngsters starting out in Brave New Ventures. Although, he is mildly averse to technology so I don't think he generally touches computers... He once showed me his "computer" and it was his pen. Hard to read long emails on that, I'd think... :D

I think that's it. I love that photo! I'm so thrilled to think I'll get to OWN it!!
