Things to rock your socks

Working on editing some pictures today, but thought I would take a break to share some enjoyable things I have found online recently:

Home Again, Home Again

Last week I was able to get a full week off from work and visit my family in Washington. I loved it and wish I could have stayed longer and seen everyone. It was fun to have Stephanie there too! Together went to the Museum of Glass, had a BBQ with some friends, played "home shopping network" (thanks again for the pickles Mom! Such a luxury!!), read, rode bikes on the Ceder River Trail, shopped, hiked to Snoqualmie Falls, played in Seattle and went to SAM, enjoyed the hot tub, watched dumb aka: GREAT preteen girl movies about imaginary boyfriends, took Anna's senior pictures, and on and on. Like I said, it was a terrific week! Here a few of the documented events:

ok so this is total cheese, but seriously...PEOPLE EAT CHEESE!! I love it!

Part two

I finally finished up these pictures of Nick. Who, speaking of, has challenged me to join with him in creating 10 self portraits in 10 days. I wanted to start when he did, but since I am going home TOMORROW (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I am going to wait until I get back. So look for it :)

Pun Stores

If I had my own business, you can bet the name would have a pun. Seriously how great are these? They are definitely up there with, "curl up and dye" from Runaway Bride.

"the best location ever!!!"

This last week my friend Nick was in Utah and so we decided to shoot his graduation pictures. We went to a super cool old factory in downtown Ogden that I am doing some environmental design for at work. These are just a taster for the rest that will hopefully follow soon.

"The Little Blonde One"

First off, I thought I should calm your troubled souls in regards to my last post. Apparently some people actually read my blog and were forced to take household polls when I left you on that giant cliff hanger. :) So know now that American Falls is to the left and Malad is to the Right.

OK, now the pictures. These were taken this past weekend in two of my favorite abandoned houses and I just have to say...aren't my sisters the cutest girls ever?!!

P.S. Anna, I apologize that there are so many of Emy, but I figure you get a whole blog post of your own in August for your senior pictures. And I hate to say it, but you are just too stinking cute to be posing in an abandoned house. I needed some "emo" action and as Nick says, "the little blonde one," is good at that.

P.P.S. Emily don't worry I think you are stinking cute also!

4th O July

This last weekend, Stephanie and I got to visit with my family in Rockland, ID. We had lots of fun doing all of the small town fourth things. Highlights of the trip included: watching the kids chase the greased hogs, watching "leash girl" with leash flying chase after the greased hogs, riding motorcycles and horses, canoing, laughing with everyone, swimming in the freezing spring water...and so on. Basically I loved getting to spend time with my family and seeing the progress on the new cabin - even if it did mean cold showers and painting duty. :)

P.S. Above is THE WORST sign ever made! Which way do you go? Is American Falls left or right?!!! I spent a good 5 minutes trying to decide one day and then ultimately choose incorrectly...
