Emily & Brian

Now here are some faces you have seen here before, my sister Emily and her husband Brian. You might remember seeing their one year anniversary photos, engagements or other images of Emily throughout the life of my blog. 

The happy couple was married in May of last year in the Salt Lake Temple. Being the bride's sister, I especially enjoyed photographing the wedding day. The ceremony was beautiful and I cried like a baby. :) Afterwards we had perfect weather. Because theirs was the last temple sealing of the day, we ended up having most of Temple Square to ourselves! If you have ever been there, you understand that this is a big deal. On any given day (other than Sunday) you can spot at least three newlyweds walking around.

It's a little funny writing this post practically a year and a half after their big day, but I have to say that I am still so happy for them. They are so well suited for each other and Brian just continues to impress me. I love them both!

Annie & Brent

I photographed these sweethearts June of 2012. Even though it's been awhile, I still remember having a great time! Brent is a hoot and kept us all laughing. Annie is such a friendly and likeable girl. She looked gorgeous in her mermaid gown and they were both so easy to work with.

The Weddings I Never Posted

Once upon a time I told potential clients "I don't shoot weddings." I had my reasons, but then something happened. I actually shot some weddings. And you know what? I decided I liked them. I realized that I love photographing people who are so happy and excited to be together. Shooting engagements is fun, but nothing compares to the joyful wedding day.

I have been thinking about this for awhile and along with some other changes I am making in my business, I  am now officially available to photograph weddings. Please contact me if you are interested.

These images were shot in Montana during January of last year. The bride is one of my dearest friends, so naturally we had a great time together. I did not meet her fiancee until two days before the wedding (although I had obviously heard a lot about him) and I was not disappointed. Jared is exactly the type of man I always imagined for Rachel. They are so sweet together and obviously in love.

For the next few days I plan to showcase images of couples that never made it onto my blog. Stay tuned.
